Potassium Rich Foods You Need!

Foods that are rich in potassium include:


  • Bran cereal

  • Whole-wheat bread and pasta

  • Nuts

  • Certain meat and poultry

  • Brown and wild rice

  • Salt substitutes (make sure to read labels for how much potassium it contains)

  • Molasses

Beans or legumes that are high in potassium include:


  • Lima beans

  • Pinto beans

  • Kidney beans

  • Lentils



Some dairy products, like milk and yogurt, are high in potassium (low-fat or fat-free is better).




Some fish contain potassium:


  • Tuna and salmon canned have a higher source of potassium
